  4. Welcome T! Be prepared for some detox symptoms like head ache, moodiness, achy body, nausea, tiredness, and hunger during the first week - 10 days. Some people even experience rashes depending on how severe their candida is. Hopefully if you loaded well on fats your detox symptoms will pass quickly. Drinking a minimum of 1 gallon of water a day helps to push the nasties out of your system faster. Come back often, I will be posting a lot of recipes and tips for all phases as time goes on. Right now we are in phase 2, so that is my primary focus. Once I get all the phase 2 info on the blog I'll start to post more about phase 3, 4 and maintenance.

  5. Hi Shirley, I really appreciate the information and your personal experience on HCG. I searched the net for a blog like yours when I first started the HCG 38 days ago to learn how others were affected and could only find blogs where the writer cheated and did not follow Dr. Simeons protocol. I was happy to join the yahoo group where I currently read the information like a starving person. My story is: I am 54 and I have tried many different diets and have lost at snails pace, then regained rapidly after frustration of not losing, or gaining for no apparent reason. I went to see my dr. that practices alternative medicine to see if there was something wrong with me, thyroid, etc. and after testing and finding nothing wrong, he recomended the hcg diet. He required that I read Dr.Simeons manuscript and sign a commitment letter, but then I started. I was so surprised at the rapid weight loss, and how good I felt. And, my old habits are finely waning, of getting on the scale every morning, apprehensive because in the past I would lose, lose, gain, gain. But with the hcg, it is just lose, lose, lose and no gain! It is honestly a life saver for me, I had given up hope that I would be able to lose this weight. Unfortunatley, like you, I am FREEZING! I double up with clothing and take hot baths at home, since they really warm me up better than anything. I am glad to see it is the hcg, and not my body going through a reverse hot flash or something :)
Thanks so much for sharing your journey, It is very helpful to me. Georgette Burritt

It would be great if you could put one medium size picture on your site so that it can be shared/saved on Pinterest.
